All-round HRM Employee

As an All-round HRM employee of MKG Koeriers, you are a jack-of-all-trades who works independently in a small office team within a dynamic environment. The profession no longer has many secrets for you and that is why you can independently tackle most aspects of the HRM field relatively quickly. This way you make the processes run smoothly and with your strong communication skills you naturally enjoy helping drivers in particular with their questions and you are happy to make time to speak to them personally.

If you don't know us yet, we are MKG Couriers. A real Brabant family business where almost all colleagues come from the area and know each other. Our office is located in Elsendorp in a charming farmhouse with a very friendly atmosphere. A total of 110 people work there, of which about 10 are active in the office and more than 100 drivers are active on the road throughout Europe every day. Together we ensure that, on a daily basis, mainly urgent transports, often high-quality and valuable goods, are delivered correctly and on time for our customers. And that's no small feat!

What are you going to do?

As an All-round HRM Employee you mainly work together with the planners, our drivers and the operational manager. After a nice induction process, your main tasks will be:

  • Drawing up, maintaining and implementing personnel files, contracts and changes based on conversations;

  • Registering, following up and supervising absenteeism due to illness, including occupational health and safety service communication;

  • Inventory training requirements and ensure correct and timely implementation;

  • Drawing up and posting vacancies within set budgets;

  • Maintaining email traffic, for selecting candidates, planning and possibly conducting job interviews;

  • Guiding new employees in the first weeks of the welcome package until the end of the probationary period

  • Initiating and implementing improvements in HRM software systems

  • Supporting the preparation or adjustment of (quality) manuals;

  • Drawing up and implementing HRM policy, satisfaction, newsletters, conversations;

  • Preparing periodic reports for management information;

  • Monitor labor legislation and compliance and collective labor agreements;

  • Organizing internal events and meetings;

  • Contributing to and activating a positive culture.

What are you bringing?

  • At least an MBO+ working and thinking level;

  • Knowledge of employment packages, labor law and social legislation;

  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar position;

  • Integrity, accuracy, solution-oriented, sense of responsibility, good communication skills and a good dose of independent work;

  • Communicate and deal with potential new and existing employees in an empathetic manner

  • Knowledge of Microsoft programs and it would be nice if you were familiar with, for example: AFAS, Canva, TransPas or FleetHours.

Employment conditions according to the Collective Labor Agreement for Professional Freight Transport 2026 scale E with a salary between €3,282 and €3,692 euros (FT) based on knowledge and experience.
